First Snow Storm of 2023 ppds 4 games

The first major snowstorm of 2023 which made driving conditions undesirable for thousands of people forced the postponment of 4 Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League Games Friday Jan 20.  Postponed were clashes in Antigonish between the Jr. Eagles and Jr. Bulldogs, the Capstone Colts and East Hants in Lantz, the Strait Pirates and Pictou in Port Hawkesbury and the Valley Maple Leafs did not make the 105 minute drive down the 103 to play the Privateers in Liverpool.

The 4 games will now have to be made up with playoff races so tight but with rink scheduling, it will not be an easy job for any of the general managers between now and Feb 25.
