Player Spotlight - Dawson Laplante

2024 signing Dawson Laplante captained the Cole Harbour Wolfpack last season in his 3rd season in u18 Major, A Sackville native he is excited to be suiting up in the orange and black for the 2024-2025 campaign. 

Last season Laplante accumulated 24 points (12 goals and 12 assists) in 28 regular season games. In his u18 Major career he accumulated a .51 pts per game with 48 in 94 games played.

“ Dawson will bring a great mix of speed, skill and strength to our lineup next season, a young player that will be exciting to watch for years to come” Said Seth Silver, Head Scout of the Blazers “He plays a complete 200 foot game, in addition to his offensive skills he will be a key shutdown player.” 

Dawson joins an exciting group of young players who will be joining the team's veteran lineup for this upcoming season. The 2024-2025 season starts on Friday, September 13th. A full schedule will be released in the coming weeks.

Will Roach also grew playing his minor hockey in Sackville, his first two years of U 18 were in the u16aaa league with the Admirals and Kings, last season he back stopped the Lockview Dragons where he had a very successful season posting a 2.59 gaa average and a .900 save percentage.

Brandon grew up in Sackville and played for the U 16 AAA Kings his first year of U18aaa and the past two seasons with the Steele Subaru u18 majors, this past season he recorded a 2.22 GAA and a .915 save percentage in 18 games. Brandon is also a draft pick of the Cape Breton Eagles and Truro Bearcats.
