Poor weather postpones Holiday Game
Due to the exceptionally poor travelling conditions forecast for Colchester County for this holiday Monday, the Brookfield Elks-South Shore Lumberjacks NSJHL Game scheduled for Bridgewater on this holiday Monday has been postponed until Tuesday evening Feb 18th at 6:00 p.m. in Bridgewater.
Blowing Snow for Southern Colchester County with a wind chill between -18 and -23 and wind gusts to 90 KM/H are all forecast for Southern Colchester County Monday evening, so obviously the trip home from Bridgewater would become unsafe. The game Tuesday evening as noted in previous stories will be the final one of the regular season for both teams with the Elks missing the 2024-25 playoffs and the Lumberjacks scheduled to open against the powerful East Hants Penguins later this week.
