NS Egg Farmers players of the week announced

Another outstanding week of hockey in the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League with numerous players displaying performances above and beyond the call of recognition.  Unfortunately only two players can be named Nova Scotia Egg Farmers Players of the week and they are the following:

 
Fred Fox Division:
 
1.  Graydon Mole - Valley Maple Leafs - Mole’s efforts in the Leafs two wins can’t be described in earnest to folks simply reading this story.  They actually had to see his acrobatic manoeuvres in which he led the Maple Leafs to two huge wins while stopping 105 of 111 shots in the process.  He was especially brilliant in the opening period of wins against the South Shore Lumberjacks and the Capstone Colts when the Leafs were outshot 33-11 and 29-12 respectively.
 
2.  Nick Oickle — Valley Maple Leafs — played two strong games in garnering a hat-trick in the win over the South Shore and 2 assists in the win over the Colts.  Oickle’s defensive work was also second to none.  Oickle earns 3 points in the standings as to who will win player of the month and five dozen eggs from the Egg Farmers of Nova Scotia.
 
3.  Liam Andrews — Capstone Colts — he scored four goals in a win and a loss for the Colts and earned a single point in the standings for Player of the Month.
 
 
Sid Rowe Division:
 
1.   Tyler Seymour — Membertou Jr. Miners - he scored a goal and added four assists as the Jr. Miners finished 1-1-0 on a road trip to the Fred Fix Division.  He collected 4 assists in a huge win in Sackville Friday night.
 
2.   Matt Carson — Pictou County Scotians — He collected two goals and two assists in a huge win at home against the Antigonish Jr. Bulldogs Sunday evening as the Scotians won 6-4.
 
3.   Ethan Twolan -  Antigonish Jr. Bulldogs — He collected five points in the Jr. Bulldogs 1-1-0 weekend.  The Bulldogs won 5-2 in East Hants where he collected a pair of assists and then in their 6-4 loss to Pictou scored twice and added another assist.
