Nova Scotia Egg Farmers players of the week Oct 25-30
Nova Scotia Egg Farmers Players of the week were named today for the week concluding Friday, Oct 25-Wednesday, October 30/24. In the Fox Division:
1. Capstone Colts — Finn Merritt was named player of the week for the Fox Division after scoring 4 goals in a win and a loss. The Colts doubled up South Shore 4-2 while losing 5-4 to East Hants. For his efforts, Merritt wins two dozen eggs from the Egg Farmers of Nova Scotia and 5 points in the player of the month standings for the month of October.
2. East Hants Penguins — Finley Diab connected for a pair of goals and a pair of assists in two Penguin wins, one over the Colts and another 4-2 win over Pictou. He earned 3 points in the player of the month standings for October.
3. East Hants Penguins — Alec Field - he scored two goals and collected an assist as he continued his torrid scoring in October. He earned 1 point in the player of the month standings.
Rowe Division:
1. Port Hawkesbury Strait Pirates — Liam Trenholm — recorded 4 assists leading the Strait Pirates to a pair of wins 4-3 in overtime over Membertou at home and 4-3 over Brookfield on the road. For his efforts, he earns 2 dozen eggs from the Egg Farmers of Nova Scotia and also 5 points toward player of the month standings.
2. Port Hawkesbury - Landon MacIntosh — He scored three times and added an assist in the Strait Pirates two wins while earning three points toward player of the month standings.
3. Antigonish Jr. Bulldogs — Kellen Fuller scored once and added two assists in a pair of Antigonish wins and earned one point in the Player of the month of Standings.
