Tuesday night June 4th, the Fred Fox Champion South Shore Lumberjacks held an awards and volunteer appreciation banquet at the Best Western Plus Bridgewater Hotel and Convention Centre. Team Management thanked everyone for a fantastic season and noted they are already looking forward to seeing fans and returning players and volunteers in September

The Lumberjacks were attempting to advance to the Don Johnson Memorial Cup Atlantic Championship in Newfoundland in late April but were defeated in six games in the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League's Provincial Final by the eventual Atlantic Champion Antigonish Bulldogs.

Liam Sylvester- Humanitarian Award

Joey Osborne - Most Improved Award

Brennan Coleman- Most Sportmanship Award. 

Daniel LeBlanc- 100% Hustle Award

Alex Howie- Fans Choice & Hall of Fame Award

John Shubaly- Top Defensemen & Regular Season MVP Award

Aaron Lane- Top Defensemen Award

Kegan Greencorn- MVP Playoff Award

Cohen Westlake- Rookie of the Year & Team Top Scorer Award.
