It is hard to believe but due to the State of Emergency still in effect in Cape Breton Regional Municipality because of last weekend's verocious snowstorm, Membertou Rink and basically all of CBRM will remain closed until 2pm on Sunday, February 11th. 

 

 This is in keeping with CBRM’s local state of emergency which went into effect last Sunday.

 

Due to CBRM state of emergency the Membertou Jr. Miners will not be able to play or travel this weekend 

 

As a result the Friday Feb 9th Game - Jr Miners @ Antigonish will not be played.

 

As well the Saturday Feb 10th game Jr Miners vs Port Hawkesbury has been postponed.

 

Jr. Miners Head Coach Ryan Boutilier has been in contact with both teams and they have agreed to reschedule ASAP. Ryan said he will be meeting with Memebetou Rin Manager Paul Carrol Monday when they open.
