The Lumberjacks played their last home game before the Christmas break on Saturday night at the LCLC against the Eskasoni Eagles. The fans were asked to bring a Teddy Bear and when the first goal was scored by a Lumberjack the bears were tossed onto the ice. Daniel Kline scored the goal and hundreds of Bears were tossed. The six extra large bags of bears were collected as a part of the CKBW Announcers and Country 100.7 Announcers Christmas Toy Drive. The Lumberjacks went on to defeat the Eagles 10-0.
