McKenzie 5 point night in Colts 7-1 pasting of Blazers

They have now met twice in the 25-26 Nova Scotia Junior Hockey regular season and both games were an exact opposite of each other.  In the opener Sept 19 Sackville doubled up the Colts 6-3 but Monday night in Sackville, the Blazers were no where to be found as they were throttled by the Colts 7-1.

The Colts received huge offensive nights from Camden MacKenzie who scored once and added four assists while Cody Garcin scored twice and added an assist and Connor MacPhee scored once and added a pair of assists.  Finn Merritt also scored twice for the Colts and Nolan Stevens added the other. Logan Mitchell’s power-play goal was the only goal for Sackville who were outshot 62-36.  The Colts improved to 2-1-0 while the Blazers suffered their third consecutive loss and are now 1-3-0.

Both teams will be back in action Friday night as the Colts will host the East Hants Penguins while Sackville travels to Windsor to play the new outlook Oxen.
