The result was a 4-2 home loss as the Eagles opened up a 4 point lead over the Pictou County Scotians for first place in the Sid Rowe Division.  The Lumberjacks with the loss remain 6 points behind the 18-3-0 Capstone Colts but still have two games in hand.

The late goals were scored by Marcellus Francis who ended up with hat-trick on the afternoon with two of them coming with five seconds remaining in the second period and 43 seconds left in the third when he put one into an empty net.  Mitchell Gould scored the other Jr. Eagles goal as he tied the game at 1-1 with 3:37 to play in the second period.  Francis's third goal came on the power-play and was the first of the third period.  Francis now has 11 goals on the season.  Brennan Coleman notched his 13th goal of the season to open the game’s scoring in the first period.  The the other Lumberjack goal was scored by Owen Cleary in the third period.  Jesse Cathcart and Kendrick Marshall both collected a pair of assists for the winners.
