Colts pull it out in OT

It was a thrilling 3-2 sudden-death overtime win for the Capstone Colts in Cole Harbour Wednesday night as the Colts squeaked by the Liverpool Privateers 3-2 in the opening game of the Fred Fox Divisional Final.  The Colts tallied just 1:03 into overtime as Cole Good struck for the Colts, this after Cooper Puma tied the game with 17 seconds remaining in regulation for the Colts.  Malcom Bussey and John Shubaly scored for the Privateers.  Brayden Hooper-Richard put the colts up 1-0 after twenty minutes. Game 2 is Friday night and Game 3 back in Queens County Saturday night.  The Colts outshot the Privateers 49-26.
 
   In Eskasoni,  It was a losing cause but Sonny Kabatay scored three times and assisted on the 2 other Jr. Eagle goals.  For Antigonish who trailed 2-1 after one period but led 5-3 after the second, Sam Grant scored twice, Kyler Lohnes, Matthew Bercovici, Will Mierau, Bradley Armstrong and Chris Keyes tallied for the Bulldogs.  Jacob Denny and Alex Christmas were the other Jr. Eagle goal scorers.  The Bulldogs are now up 2-0 in the Sid Rowe Divisional Final with Game 3 back in Antigonish Saturday night.
