Three Stars of the Week
The Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League has named their three stars of the week. Over the past month, we have had different players chosen on more than occasion but for the first time this year, three players have been named who have yet to be in the top 3 so far in 22-23. They are:
1. Will MacRae — Capstone Colts — 4 goals and one assist in a pair of wins over Sackville and a loss to Brookfield.
2. Will Fitzsimmons — Antigonish Mutual Insurance Jr. Bulldogs — 3 goals and 4 assists in two wins over Eskasoni and Cumberland.
3. Benjamin Veinot — 5 assists in the Colts 3 Games,
