Bulldogs now trail Jr. Eagles by only 3 points

The Antigonish Jr. Bulldogs and Eskasoni Jr. Eagles put on quite a show at the Dan K. Stevens Memorial Arena Wednesday night in a Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League make-up game.  The Bulldogs recorded a 5-4 win thanks to a pair of power-play goals 30 seconds apart with less than six minutes to play in regulation.  The goal scorers were Kevin Walker and Owen Chisholm.  It was the only scoring of the third period after Eskasoni rallied from a 3-1 deficit to take a 4-3 lead after forty minutes.  Marcellus Francis scored twice and collected a pair of assists for the Jr. Eagles with both of Francis’s goals coming on the power-play.  Tyler LeFrense scored the other second period goal for the now 18-8-0 Jr. Eagles.
