The Capstone Colts have now won seven consecutive games following their 5-2 verdict over the Sackville Blazers Monday night in Sackville.  The Colts never trailed to the now 5-11-0 Blazers taking period leads of 1-0 and 3-1.

Liam Andrews who tied for the league lead in goals last season scored his 15th and 16th ones of the season as he gave the Colts leads of 1-0 and 5-1.  He also added an assist.  Other Colt goal scorers who are now 13-3-0 for 26 points and tied with the South Shore Lumberjacks for first place in the Fred Fox Division, were Connor MacPhee, Jacob Trioni-Willis and Matthew Walker.  Brody Fitzpatrick and Aiden Tucker replied for Sackville.  Four of the five Colt goals were scored on the power-play as they outshot Sackville 60-36.  Braden Shaikh turned away 55 of 60 shots in the Sacckville nets while Carter Aguirre stopped 34 of 36 for the Colts.

The Colts now prepare to take over sole position of first place if they can defeat the East Hants Penguins at home Friday night.  A win will put them two points up on the Lumberjacks and five points ahead of the East Hants Penguins.
